No one expects Tamrin to be disloyal to his father's struggle and also UMNO's. He benefitted so much and are still benefitting from pensions whether as UMNO State Assemblyman or as an UMNO Parliamentarian. When you renounced the party do you renounced the benefits you are getting from the party? YES would be the right attitude and a principled one. No point talking about principles when one is not practising it.
Tamrin is not a bright student and we are not sure whether he studied what in Australia. He is also a developer who do not complete to develop projects when he was actively involve in Melaka. When he was MARA Chairman he made a boo boo of the Rahman Putra deal. He drives a car with the registration no: MT 1 (empty one). Announcing to the world his status.
So when he blames UMNO for the cause of May 13, 1969 and convince his audience that Al Marhum Tengku Abdul Rahman, his late father Ghafar Baba and the lateTun Ghazali Shafie told him so, the empty one successfully use dead people to be his witness, maybe not crazy but a smart move.
He starts with a blatant lie and continued spewing lies for the rest of his campign. An interesting analogy he debated about DAP not being a racist party but MCA is, is by comparing that MCA do not have multi racial members whilst DAP has Malays, Indians and so on so forth. If he is not empty, he should know what the MCA constitution stipulates. YES UMNO, MCA and MIC are race based parties but they contested under the banner of BARISAN NASIONAL to represent Malaysians. They do not contest as a Malay UMNO. a Chinese MCA or an Indian MIC. The policies and principles for BN to form the Government is a united multiracial and multi religious Malaysia as seen under Gagasan 1 Malaysia.
Tamrin Ghafar, for the sake of Ghafar Baba's peace in rest, stop lying and deceiving. You can be disloyal to anything else, but not your father.
What Tamrin said in Taman Nusantara:
Dato' Mohd Tamrin b.
