As of the 20th of October, 2008 there are 64 (sixty four) UMNO divisions that had completed their meetings. The aspirant Deputy President candidates Right Honourable Datuk Seri Mohd Ali Rustam (DAR) had secured 13 nominations whilst Honourable Tan Sri Mohd Muhamad Taib (TMMT) had secured 8 nominations.Its a long way to go and supporters of both candidates are praying very hard for their nominations in the coming weeks.
